Alleycat Tea House

It was a year ago when I first heard about the first cat inspired cafe here in Davao City. The first thing that came into my mind is that I am beginning to have a feeling that the city will be then be offering a huge tray of newly opened coffee shops with different themes and styles. I was familiar with cat cafe's and dog cafe's since these already existed specially in North Asian countries specifically in Japan and Korea. My first visit at the cat cafe last year was a bit too busy as it was still fresh from the eyes of the public. So I didn't get to enjoy much of the store to myself except for having the tea itself.

This year, I came to visit it again and was reluctant enough to enjoy the place as it was deserted. Alleycat Tea House is located at Door 07, The Site, Davao Central Convenience Store, Inc., E. Jacinto Street, Davao City. The cat inspired tea house is celebrating its 3rd year and has been part of the ever growing cafe industry in Davao.

Alleycat Tea House also hosts some events such as 'Print ta!' a small press expo participated by art groups in Davao such as Davao Graphic Designers Community and Morning Light Art Gallery Shop.

Above all, what Alleycat Tea House can offer aside from free lounging, free board games and a stack full of books to discover are the Milk Tea menu which I am most definitely willing to suggest; the Blueberry Milk Tea and Wintermelon Milk Tea and the prices are from P85 - P120. For groups, Milk Tea Tower is a must try! Prices from P600 - P700 for 8-10 people.
