Lake Apo

Had an early morning trek at Musuan Peak and now is the time to chill out here at Lake Apo. A crated lake in Barangay Guinoyoran in the city of Valencia in Bukidnon province. It is located in a hilly area about 640 meters in elevation, about 11 kilometers on the city poblacion. And it was awarded the cleanest inland body of water in Region 10 in the late 1990s. The lake has an estimated area of 24 hectares with maximum depths reaching up to 85 feet.

Lake Apo is also a good place to reminisce and relax. If your a nature lover, then this is a good spot for you, the scenery is pleasing to soothe tired eyes. By the way, taking dip into water might be risky, the water is stagnant and a little murky. Just take an extra careful and wear your life-vest but then again, swimming is not advisable.

TOUR PACKAGES

DAYTOUR PACKAGE --- P3,500 per group good for 15 pax inclusive of Hillside Trekking, Horseback Riding and unlimited use of Floating Cottage, Swimming Pool, Canoe, Pedal Boat and Kayaking facilities. Excess visitor will add P200. Bring your own food.
OVERNIGHT TOUR PACKAGE --- P1,100 per head minimum of 10 pax inclusive of accommodation, 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and unlimited use of Floating Cottage, Swimming Pool, Canoe, Pedal Boat and Kayaking facilities. The resort can accommodate 40 pax.
CAMPING --- Tent pitching costs P750 per night.
NON-PACKAGED TOUR--- A Floating Cottage costs P220. Kayak rental is negotiable.
JETSKI --- is available at P3,500 per hour.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Valencia Bus Terminal, ride a multicab going to Maramag and tell the driver to drop you at Crossing Kisanday. The fare is around 20php. Then ride a habal-habal going to Sitio Lawa, Lake Apo.
