Walled City, Intramuros

Intramuros

A Spanish-style fortified city where churches, government buildings, museums, plazas, schools, stately houses, etc, are all enclosed in its massive walls. The oldest district and historic core of Manila - The Intramuros which also known as "The Walled City". It was damaged during World War II, was restored and became a National Historical Monument in 1951.

Being part of this Philippine History trip, it also reminds me how heroes fought for our freedom.
Freedom is not given, it is taken
