Together with my bestie, Sierra, we head to our first destination - Nasuili Cold Spring. Nasuli's water is so cold and we enjoyed the scenery yet we felt quite terrified in the water since it is not crystal clear thus we could not verify the kind of creatures we are swimming with. In addition sea water plants are quite distracting as well as the mud clay. Some areas are quite deep specially in blue water areas. If you are unable to swim well, you may still enjoy it by renting floaters and life jackets from the cashier area.
Nasuli was first developed and maintained by American missionaries belonging to the Summer Institute of Linguistics. The missionaries reside here along with their families for decades. After their mission was completed years ago, the property was turned over to the original owners who now maintain the place
We soak our selves for an hour or so. It feels refreshing and we're ready to head up to Monastery of the Transfiguration for our next stop.
